Metallurgical and Environmental Testing Laboratory, a subsidiary of Metallurgical Services, Inc., is a full-service, state-of-the-art metals and materials testing laboratory. M.E.T. Met Lab specializes in a wide variety of destructive, non-destructive, microstructural, chemical analysis, and failure analysis test parameters.

The Metallography Department evaluates the micro and macro features found in a wide variety of materials and components.

Advanced metallographic and optical techniques make it possible to quantitatively evaluate microstructure, case depth, plating thickness, welds, as well as grain size, nodularity, and cleanliness.
